Guildford HC Over 100 Party

Guildford HC has realised a bit late that we are 100 years old plus! The first mention of hockey with the Guildford name appears to be in 1902! Hence the plus! We are celebrating the Centenary on the 2nd November at Broadwater School

I think it's time for a PARTY! In fact I think it's time for a BALL!

We have the capacity to get 250 people attending the function and would like it to consist of  members past and present and also any outside interested parties to witness what we are all about!

I then thought the best way to achieve this was to highlight certain individuals from within the club who I felt had the necessary motivation and commitment to be able to put a table of 10 together for what promises to be a fantastic night. Guess what, I thought of you!  Obviously if you think you can do more than 1 then that's even better!

To outline what will be happening on the night:

£55.00 per person
Black tie for the men, long or cocktail for the women
Champagne reception, those that have been to a men's 1's dinner knows what this entails!
Half a bottle of wine on the table for each person.
4 course dinner provided by Andersons restaurant in Farnham
Silent auction
Live auction
Simon Mason, who is a triple Olympian and who is fast becoming renowned for his prowess as a superb after dinner speaker.
Live band especially put together to ensure we get up on the dance floor!
DJ who just when we thought we could get a rest will have us back up there again...well maybe.
And of course a couple of surprises???

The idea of this Ball is to ensure we all have a fantastic time and not for it to come across as a fund raiser although clearly if we can get 250 people it will inevitably help raise much needed funds for refurbishment of the clubhouse.
